I was working with a group of artists when I was in my early 30's. As an artist that was frustrating time for me. I was raising 2 children and working part time but longed to be able to support myself with my art. I have always loved drawing and painting but also was interested in pottery, glass, collage, and sculpture to name a few, you get the idea...As I was getting older I felt like I should narrow down or settle on a certain medium so I could build a style or something that was recognizable as mine own.
One day during a workshop I mentioned this and got what ended up being good advice to me. Why not do it all! experiment with as many different mediums and see what happens.
This is really what I love most about art...It Happens!
